  7. BibCard is a database program to control BibTeX files. These are files
  8. with references to articles, books, conferences etc. and are used in
  9. combination with LaTeX.

  12. It requires minimal v2.04 (kickstart V37) of the operating system. It has
  13. been written and tested (using Mungwall and Enforcer) under v3.1 (V40),
  14. but should run under 2.04 and higher.

  17. BibCard has the following features:
  18.  
  19.   - It can handle multiple bib files at once. It opens for
  20.     every bib file a new window.
  21.  
  22.   - It has an extended Annotation option.
  23.  
  24.   - It has a @preamble option
  25.  
  26.   - It supports @string entries.
  27.  
  28.   - Every entry that is unknown for BibCard will be stored,
  29.     saved and is also editable.
  30.  
  31.   - For every entry and field is some help, explaining where
  32.     it is used for.
  33.  
  34.   - It can read "" and {} pair's for field delimiters.
  35.  
  36.   - Sensitive help.
  37.  
  38.   - Search option.

  40.   - Supports text entering through the textfield.gadget.
  41.  
  42.   - BibCard opens on the Workbench, a public screen or his
  43.     own public screen.

  45.   - For a custom screen any font can be choosen.

  51.   - Supports icon creation for saved bibfiles.

  63.       had extra fields added to BibCard and was forgotten to update the Find

  69.     o Added the User Fields to the Cite Window.

  71.     o When running under Intuition V39 or higher the default Busy Pointer
  72.       is used. (As set in sys:Prefs/Pointer)

  74.     o Removed a bug which appeared when loading a bib file when starting
  75.       BibCard from the shell.

  77.     o Added keyboard controls to the Cite Window.

  79.     o Added a sort routine to the Cite Window. It is not very fast, but
